Today's Fascinating Quote

I found this fascinating quote today:

The 9 nights festival of Navratri, the brightest of all festivals celebrated across indian subcontinent  begins from tomorrow, 19 Aughust 2009,  on the first day of Ashwina. It will be a bright fortnight. Seeds are sown, sprouting is watched, the planets are consecrated, and on the 8th and 9th days, Goddess Durga, Vijayashtami and Mahanavami are worshipped. Apart from this usual festival practice, this year we observe one more distinguished move of moral policing (????????????) from Indian fathers that they are going to keep a mobile tracking of their daughters. Get installed the software in the cell of your daughter and don’t worry, you will get the uptodate details about the whereabouts of her in every minute. Most of the fathers who admit this is turning out to be a smarter and cheaper methode and more convenient, because they used to give huge moneny to the detective agencies formerly for the purpose. The parents get alerts on the numbers dialled and calls received with contents of message received on the device. It created a big buzz in the market.  Large numbers of parents have opted for it and the software is getting high popularity among the parents of India. But there is only one question in the mind of the Global Editor for the parents India, a country of true values. Is there no need of a personal space for our daughters as an individual…?Greenindia, talentsglobal.org, Sep 2009

Content That Bring Search Engine Traffic

Encountering with massive stuffs which try to impress you at first and when you advance still further you come to a shocking degeneration of energy was my bitter experience whenever I tried to catch my fish in the so called unfamiliar, reckless and unfriendly waters of hundreds of websites which boast you would be the best blogger in next ten minutes if you stay a bit. I wanted more reason, perhaps more logic, mere digesting a heap of words would not help me because I think I have a bad understanding faculty – this may be my problem – which would accept only a straight answer, unfortunately most of the sites did not offer this. At last, with a lot of pleasure I would say I succeeded to find what I really wanted:

OBAMA WARNS WALLSTREET UNRELENTING

On the first anniversary of the Lehman Brothers collapse, Obama asked wall street and the financial titans not return to the "reckless and unchecked behavior" that had turned the nation to a threatening down turn with a second Great Depression. He was speaking to an audience that included members of the financial community, law makers and top administration officials at the Federal Hall in Wall Street. With a tough and serious tone he remind the financial community "instead of learning the lessons of Lehman and the crisis from which we are still recovering, they are choosing to ignore them." Obama asked them to listen to his words: "We will not go back to the days of reckless behavior and unchecked excess at the heart of this crisis, were too many were motivated only by the appetite for quick kills and bloated bonuses." Obama noted the US economy and financial system pulling out of downward spiral, and was confident.

LTE Devices (Long Term Evolution Devices)

LTE is expected to be the next generation mobile broadband technology for the 3GPP and 3GPP2 community from about 2010 onwards. As service providers expand their LTE coverage and the subscriber base migrates,it is feasible to consider repositioning the EDGE/HSxPA and CDMA/EV-DO assets as necessary. Existing 2Gand 3G spectrum can gradually be re-farmed to LTE, providing a means to efficiently and cost effectively assimilate the ever increasing demand for both voice and data traffic.Nokia has committed to LTE as its preferred network for devices, and plans to launch devices for those networks in 2010. They would be data intensive. The recent increase of mobile data usage and emergence of new applications such as MMOG (MultimediaOnline Gaming), mobile TV, Web 2.0, streaming contents have motivated the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) to work on the Long-Term Evolution (LTE). LTE is the latest standard in the mobile network technology tree that previously realized the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSxPA networktechnologies that now account for over 85% of all mobile subscribers. LTE will ensure 3GPP’s competitive edge over other cellular technologies.

ERP - The Next Big Thing In IT...!!!

What is ERP ?
With the economies of the world showing signs of recovery, optimism starts to spreads among the career aspirants. People from all walks of life are looking for making a career that can pump into a recession proof income. IT experts say ERP (Enterprize Resource Planning) with all its comprehensive modern outlook is the next big thing that is going to comment the world.
ERP is way to integrate the data and processes of an organization into one single system which have many components including hardware and software. Today’s ERP systems are able cover a wide range of functions such as Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Customer Relations Management, Financials, Manufacturing functions and Warehouse Management functions and integrate them into one unified database. In other words ERP is a wide umbrella Under which a wide range of functions can be fixed.
How ERP Works
ERP is an integrated approach. If companies install a proper software with full fledged optimization, It can have a tremendous payback. A simple customer order usually takes it paper based journey often being keyed and rekeyed in different departments all along its way. Most often it suffer delays. At other times there are chances of losing the order or getting errors. At a given point of time, because no integration between different departments, nobody in the company will be able to pick up truly the current status of the order. You will have to make several calls or shuttle between the departments to seize the embarrassment. The Single Unified Software Program in ERP system effectively terminates this embarrassment and you in the finance section can easily access the data in the warehouse to know if the order has been shipped. That is the sort of INTEGRATION ERP offers.

Implementing an ERP System
Since ERP systems are extraordinary wide in scope and extremely complex, It is advisable take a lot of planning and adequate time for the implementation. There are three types of professional services that are provided when implementing an ERP system, they are Consulting, Customization and Support.
Consulting Services - They are responsible for the initial stages of ERP implementation to make the organization to live with their new system, with product training, workflow etc aiming at extending the use of ERP all over the different departments.
Customization Services - They work by creating customized interfaces some needs that have to be built or customized for an organization..
Support Services
This function is often provided in-house using members of the IT department, or may be provided by a specialist external consulting and services company. The support services aim at the continuous improvement of the core business processes – all while concurrently leveraging the existing solutions and providing the guidance needed to become a best-run business:http://talentsglobal.org/2009/09/12/erp-the-next-big-thing-in-it/

Story of The Hamberger Seller

Experts say It shows the signs of recovery all over. Sooner the dreadful word recession become a thing of past. On this tought I think today it is appropriate to discuss a story.

Mr. Peg Durant was there in the corner of the street for last ten years. I often tasted his hambergs in fine evenings, only ten minutes’ walk from my home. I don’t know how he got a special affection towards me. But it was absolutely sure that might be the reason to describe me how he got the magnificent golden tint over each piece of burger he sold. Nevertheless to say he caught each passer who happened to taste his burger atleast once. Then they never try to skip the corner without Mr. Durant’s hospitality. Over the years Mr. Durant reached in a position to sell atleast well a thousand per day. May be my counting lesser, that was his engagement whenever I observed him. The other attraction of Mr.Durant was that he always insisted on reasonable margin, still uncompromising on quality. He was doing extremely well until his educated son joined his business. He told his father about the ongoing recession and its serious impact on industries. Mr.Durant smelt a rat in future. He felt an illfeeling, but to safeguard his business he was sure ha had to do some cost cutting in his burgers. He tried some measures towords this effect. All of it came to a drastic deterioration of the quality of his burgers. And at last his business landed crashing down. Now I haven’t seen him for the last many months. But I learned he still thinks all happened due to recession only…………!!!

Getting Controll of Your Money

Getting control of your life is top priority in the life of any individual. It is a direct fight against the conditions through which one is forced to pull up. Running into huge debt, paying a credit card bill throughout out life time, huge loss in ventures, breakdown of business, families and relations is very common in the backdrop of current economic downturn.
When this happened, the very first line one usually used to do is blaming the system. But is it more better to understand primarily non other than the individual himself is responsible for his finances. Yes, system is also to be blamed. The matter of money is not stressed in our primary and secondary educational system. Financial literacy is away from most of our youths. They are not interested in how the money works. They just earn it and spent it.
If we really want to tackle the problem we must learn to chanalise our money to constructive mechanisms of investing. This is the only way for getting control of money. There are lot of choices. It is important to start early and make informed the better choices.
Brian smith who runs financial literacy workshops for disadvantaged youths and single mothers in Montreal says, in The Guardian weekly – “it’s an essential tool to combat poverty.” He advises investors ” even when dealing with financial advisers, people have to ask the right questions so that they’re fully aware of what they’re getting into.” In areful and balanced tone he leave an impact upon the youth to change the present attitude of taking the easy way realizing the fact “what they do now has an impact on their future.
